About the Event
The Lincoln County Historical Society will host the 26th Pioneer Day (2022 Video) at the Lincoln County Historical Park (FaceBook), 147 Lumber Street in Lincolnton, Georgia on Saturday November 18th, 2023 from 10 am to 3 pm, featuring living-history demonstrations, Southern Cooking, family entertainment, and even an antique tractor show. The Lincoln County Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit association organized to perpetuate the history of the economic and cultural activities of Lincoln County, Georgia. The Lincoln County Historical Park was created over the last 30 years by the Historical Society from a bare tract of land, using lots of elbow grease and almost completely volunteer labor. Event Coordinator Gary Edwards states, “It’s a great event - it’s fun to come and participate, and it’s also fun to help put it on." Contact Gary at (757) 831-9556 to volunteer or join the historical fun as a craft vendor.
