Annual Chamber Gala 2020
The Chamber held its annual gala on June 20, 2020 at the Lewis Family Pavilion in the beautiful and peaceful grounds of the Lincoln County Historical Society Park, where social distancing could be observed. We wish to thank Don Thomas and all the members of the Lincoln Historical Society for supporting the Chamber – physically and financially and for their genuine care and concern for making things better. We would like to thank Al Ewing – aka DJ Al Baby – from Al Ewing Entertainment – for providing the evening’s relaxing and enjoyable music.
Due to the COVID restrictions still in place, our gala this year was very different as food and drink had to be individually prepackaged. Everyone was encouraged to wear a mask, the winner of the “most original and creative’ mask was Al Ewing who was presented with a large bag of goodies to be used during a lockdown. The Chamber would like to especially thank Denise Hamrick and Karen Lewis for the fabulous job they did in decorating the Pavilion, and as some said, “we never seen the pavilion look that good”. As custom, we were pleased to announce the business and nonprofit of the year.
